Why Allyson Run
Sick? Slammed week? Tell your coach in plain words and the week reshapes around it, safely, in seconds. No streaks to break.
Not a calendar with a chatbot bolted on. Ask anything at 6am before a run or the night before a race, and get a real, specific answer right then. From a coach who remembers you and trains from every run you've logged.
It never yells, and a missed run leaves you owing nobody anything. If your cycle is running you over this week, just say so and the week eases. There is nothing for you to log.
Missed a run? That's information, not failure.
The honest part
We train from your actual runs. No runs yet? We start from a few questions and call the paces estimates, honestly, until we see you run.
The plan adjusts and moves on. There is no streak to keep alive and no red mark following you down the calendar, and next week starts from where you actually are.
Tell your coach in chat and the week eases. Nothing about your cycle is tracked or logged in the app, and we will not sell you pseudoscience either: the research does not show phase-based training makes you faster, but how you feel today is real data, and that is what we train with.
Every change, yours or the coach's, passes a safety check. Volume ramps are capped so a good week can't quietly become an injury.

FAQ
You can, and for a one-off question it is fine. What it does not have is any memory of you: it starts cold every conversation, has never seen your runs, and if you ask it for a plan it will invent your paces with alarming confidence. Your coach carries your history and rewrites your week when life happens, and before any of that reaches your calendar a safety check makes sure it is not handing you something reckless.
No. Allyson Run is a training tool, not medical advice. For pain that persists, or any health concern, see a doctor or physio. Your coach will tell you the same.
No. Answer a few questions and you get a full plan. A watch (via intervals.icu) sharpens your paces, but it is never required.
You tell your coach, in plain words, and it rewrites the plan without putting you at risk. That's what it is there for.
No. None of that lives in the app. You tell your coach when it is affecting you, the plan adapts, and that is the end of it.
Especially for you. Plans start where you are, not where an app thinks you should be.
